एवमेगेसिं जं णायं भवति - अत्थि मे आया उववाइए । जो इमाओ दिसाओ अणुदिसाओ वा अणुसंचरइ, सव्वाओ दिसाओ सव्वाओ अणुदिसाओ जो आगओ अणुसंचरइ सोऽहं ।
३. से आयावादी लोयावादी कम्मावादी किरियावादी ।
२. कोई प्राणी अपनी (१) स्वस्मृति ( पूर्वजन्म की स्मृति होने पर स्व-मति ) से, (२) अथवा कोई परव्याकरण (तीर्थंकर आदि प्रत्यक्षज्ञानियों के कथन) से, (३) अथवा कोई अन्य विशिष्ट श्रुतज्ञानी के पास सुनकर यह जान लेता है कि मैं पूर्व दिशा से आया हूँ, या दक्षिण दिशा, पश्चिम दिशा, उत्तर दिशा, ऊर्ध्व दिशा या अधो दिशा अथवा अन्य किसी दिशा या विदिशा से आया हूँ।
कुछ प्राणियों को यह भी ज्ञात हो जाता है - मेरी आत्मा एक योनि से दूसरी योनि में जन्म लेने वाली है, जो इन दिशाओं में अनुसंचरण करती है। जो इन सब दिशाओं और विदिशाओं में गमनागमन करती है, वही मैं ( आत्मा ) हूँ ।
३. ( जो भवान्तर में गमनागमन करने वाली आत्मा को जानकर श्रद्धा करता है) वही आत्मवादी, लोकवादी, कर्मवादी एवं क्रियावादी है ।

With the help of (1) his own memory, ( 2 ) the words of one endowed with direct perception like a Tirthankar, (3) discourse of some scholar of canons some being knows that he came from eastern direction, southern direction, western direction, northern direction, from the direction above ( zenith), from the direction below (nadir), or from some other direction (cardinal points) or intermediate direction (between the cardinal points).
Some beings also know that-From one dimension (gati) my soul reincarnates into other dimension moving in any or all of these directions. That which moves in all these said directions and intermediate directions is me (soul).
3. He (who thus believes after knowing the transmigrating character of soul) is atmavadi, lokvadi, karmavadi and kriyavadi.
