LESSON ONE
काम : कारण और निवारण ___ १४८. आवंती केआवंती लोयंसि विप्परामुसंति। अट्ठाए अणट्ठाए वा एएसु चेव विप्परामुसंति।
गुरू से कामा। तओ से मारस्स अंतो। जओ से मारस्स अंतो तओ से दूरे। णेव से अंतो णेव से दूरे।
१४८. लोक में जितने भी मनुष्य हैं वे किसी प्रयोजन से या बिना प्रयोजन के ही जीवों की हिंसा करते हैं। वे उन्हीं षड्जीवनिकायों में विविध रूप में उत्पन्न होते रहते हैं।
उनकी कामनाएँ-विषयों की अभिलाषा विशाल होती हैं।
विशाल काम-भोगेच्छाओं के कारण वे मृत्यु के निकट रहते हैं। जब वे मृत्यु या काम a के निकट रहते हैं तो वे मोक्ष या विरक्ति से दूर रहते हैं। ___अथवा कामना का त्याग नहीं करने पर वह न तो विषय-सुख के निकट है और न ही

148. Many of the humans in this world kill beings for or without purpose. They keep on getting reborn in various species of those same six life forms.
Their mundane desires are lofty.
Because of these lofty desires they remain in proximity of
death. When they are near death or desire they are away from * E liberation or detachment.
As he is not free of desires he is neither near the mundane pleasures nor far from them.
