The vibratory activity of the space units of the soul occurring as a result of the fruition of the passions karma is called coloration of the soul (Leshya). This is the coloration attitude (Bhav leshya) seen in the soul. The color of the body like yellow, red, etc., is called the material colorations (Dravya leshya).
