Ramesyara
Author of an Hillajavyakhya. He was son of Sripati, called Kshirasagara. ( Aufrecht has, from NP. VII, 37 a Hillajadipika by one Kshirasagara pandita. This is probably a confusion between father and son on the part of the compiler of that catalogue). He mentions his guru Govinda, the author of the Piyushadhara. 4, 60. He gives the exact date of Akbar's birth as the Saka year 1464, the month Kartika, the first half of the month, the sixth day being Saturday, 49 ghatis and 9 palas after sunrise. This is taken from the Vamanajataka.
