________________ lix INDEX OF AUTHORS. Ramachandra Author of the 'Raghavilasanataka. The well-known pupil of Hemachandra. See previous Index of Authors and Fourth Report, Text, p. 16. 5, 144. Ramachandra Referred to as the guru of one Kamalachandra, who wrote out a certain book in Samvat 1317. 5, 23. Ramachandra Author of the Yantraprakasa and the commentary thereto. He traces his descent from Sridhara of Malwa. Sridhara's son was Sankramadarpana, who was the father of Sivadasa. Sivadasa’s son was Suryadasa, who was the father of our author. His mother's name was Visalakshi. He mentions his guru Hirasvamin. 4, 54. Author also of the Sulbasutravritti. He refers there to a Salbasutravartika of his composition, and says that he wrote his Sulbasutravritti for a pupil named Krishna. He gives his spiritual name as Devendrasrama; and is, therefore, probably to be identified with the author of that name of the Purascharanachandrika referred to in C. C. (compare also the entry "Purascharanadipika by Ramachandra”). 4, 6. He is known as Rama Naimishastha. Compare "nimishavastavya” and “nimishiyasomasut" in the extract from the Sulbasutravritti. Aufrecht notes that his Kundakriti was written in A. D. 1489. Ramachandra Author of the Dharmaparikshakatha (a Digambark writer). 4, 100.
