Jayatilaka sûri
Of the Tapâ gachchha. Third in ascent from the Labdhisâgara who wrote, in Samvat 1557, the 'Sripâlakathâ. Labdhisâgara tells us that he succeeded the three teachers, Udayavallabha, Jnanasagara and Udayasagara, who succeeded Ratnasinha, who succeeded Jayatilaka. 3, App. p. 220. A writer (or writers) called Jayatilaka wrote a Malayasundaricharitra, 3, App. p. 210, and a Sulasâcharitra, Weber, II. p. 1134.

Author of a Kaviśiksha. He flourished under Siddharâja, whom he praises. Aufrecht in Catalogus Catalogorum notes that he is quoted by Ratnakantha on Stutikusumânjali. 1, p. 68; App. p. 78.
Jayarama
Author of a commentary, called Tilaka, on the Kâvyaprakâśa. He was a pupil of Râmachandra Bhattacharya and guru of Janârdana Vyasa. Aufrecht in C. C. notes that this book of his was used in the compilation of the Ekashashṭyalankâraprakasa, L. 1447. 2, p. 107.
