TRANSLATION, 1. In the year Samvat 1587 during the victorious reign of Påtshåh Sri 5 Bahadoor Shah, who adorned the throne of Patsliah Sri Vadâfar Shab, who had ascended the throne of Patshah Sri Mahimud, in the beneficent and beautiful land of Gujerët, Khân Sri Mazåd Khân, who bore the burden of administration, was minister. At this time this inscription is written on account of the seventh repair made by Dosi Karma, an inhabitunt of Sri Chitrakota, on the beautiful mount Satrunjaya. May Jina Nayaka be successful, who is giver of blessings, wealth, and happiness, who is refulgent being all knowledige, who adorns the Vimalachala, and who is the beginning of all the Yugas.
2. In Medapata deśa, of wide-spread fame, looking grand through affection, and well-known throughout the Universe, there is Sri Chitrakata, which is like the crown of all wealth and beautiful.
3. Sri Chitrakuta, which gives pleasure to good men, which is like the Kalpa tree among the donors, which is of a beautiful colour, which is all made of gold, ' which though high is like a play-ground, and which on account of स्नात्र (1) holy Jinesvara is consideredreacred is like a mountain of the Gods (Meru).
