Translation of v. 1549-2024 of Jinabhadra's Viseśāvasyakabhāsya based on Maladhārī Hemacandra's extensive commentary. Jinabhadra's text is a detailed commentary on the Sāmāyika chapter of the Āvaśyaka-sūtra (Prastāvanā, p. 1). These are the conversion conversations between Mahāvīra and his ganadharas. Not necessarily a literal translation. Text based on the versions in Malayagiri's cty, Kotyācārya's cty and the transcription of the Jaisalmer palm-leaf MS of the Viseșāvasyakabhāşya by Punya vijaya and Amrtalāla (Bhojaka). The Jaisalmer readings have been taken as authoritative (p. 213).
