વૈરાગ્યપ્રાપ્તિ માટે શરીરસ્વરૂપ વર્ણવે છે –
લોક-૪
विग्रहं कृमिनिकायसंकुलं, દુઃા રિ વિવેચયન્તિ | કુતિવર્ધ્વમિવ ચેતને હિ તે, मोचयन्ति तनुयन्त्रयन्त्रितम् ।।
દેહ તો કૃમિ સમૂહથી ભર્યો, દુઃખરૂપ સમજે વિવેકીઓ; દેહની નિબિડ કેદમાં પડીચેતના, કર વિમુક્તિ તેહની.
The soul is once and for all set free From its physical frame - the body, Alike a captive from a prison-hole, By him who knows in his heart and soul That the body is only a gathering of worms, (Speaking of it, in absolute terms) It causes one, over and over again. Nothing but untold suffering and pain.
