The pupil of the venerable Jeshṭahasti (Jyeshthahahastin) out of the Kottiya gaṇa, the Brahmadasika kula, the Uchchenagari śākhā and the arina sambhoga (was) the venerable Mahala; the pupil of the venerable Jeshtahasti (Jyeshthahastin) (was) the venerable Gāḍhaka; at the request of his female pupil, the venerable Śama, (was dedicated) an image of Usabha (Rishabha), the gift of Gulha, the daughter of Varma (and) the wife of Jayadāsa.
