I. p. STEA, ETA इहिमो, इहामो II. p. इहिसि इहिह III. p. sponse इहिन्ति These terminations are formed by prefixing -ihi- to the terminations of the present. In all probability it represents a phonetic variation of -issa- which arose by simplification and change of -sto -h-, beginning with roots ending in long vowels. When the root ends in a long vowel the terminations drop their initial -;-.
