1589. अकिअ-उव्वरिअं (अकृतोर्वरितम्) : Works on dramaturgy lay down six expedients to
remedy the beloved one's resentment (mana) : यथोत्तरं गुरु: षड्भिरुपायैस्तमुपाचरेत्। साम्ना भेदेन दानेन नत्युपेक्षारसान्तरैः।। (तत्र प्रियवच: साम भेदस्तत्सख्युपार्जनम्। दानं व्याजेन भूषादे: पादयोः पतनं नति:।।) 1) Conciliation 2) Dissension 3) Offering gifts 4) Humility 5) Indifference and 6) Diversion. r is the use of endearing words; 7, the winning over of her friends; GH, regaining her favour by giving her ornaments and the like; नति, falling at her feet; उपेक्षा, indifference towards her, or disregard of her , and P R is the interruption of her anger through impetuosity or sudden frightening, joy or the like.
Hari employed the expedient 'पादयो: पतनम् ; he was not required to employ any i of the other five expedients to drive away Satyabhāmā's anger or resentment.
1590-1591. तद्रदेव कपोलोष्ठस्फुरणानि कपोलोष्ठस्पन्दनानि । यथा - कपोलोष्ठस्पन्दनानि - the

act of unveiling, exposing, uncovering of the consort's offence, lapse, unfaithful conduct towards one's wife.
