'पहिअअगणिअं' of SM is a corruption of “सुण्हा अ हिअअ-गणिअं' occurring in the first gatha and rest of the passage is a corruption of the underlined portion in the second gatha.
Now, how this medley could have occurred ? It is very probable that the author of SM had adopted the very illustrations 'amevi hu honti' etc. and 'sunhae (? sunha a) hiaaguniam' etc. from SP (p. 1195) to illustrate Yaksa-rātri. He also adopted the very , Sanskrit illustrations from SP to illustrate the next festival Kamadevapüja-mahotsava and added one more Prakrit example directly from GS (VI. 45) or from SK (p. 665) where it occurs in identical context. Through scribal error the earlier Prakrit verse illustrating yak saratri' and this newly added Prakrit verse might have got nixed up.
