________________ 272 Prakrit Verses in Sanskrit Works on Poetics 1250) ...Sadimia (?)..... (p. 1046) This verse, though it shows gaps and is corrupt, is easily identified to be the same verse as " Tie Savisesadamia" etc., cited further on (p. 1224) to illustrate Srigāra-Vrddhih. The verse is cited also in SK (V. v. 350, p. 678) to illustrate katha-vyapini nayika': The context is of ' vipaksabhibhava'. The verse speaks of the nayika (Rukmini) as 'dimiasavatti-hiaa' and 'piya (= Hari)-garuia'; and we know from SK (V. v. 350, p. 678) that the present verse illustrates 'katha-vyapini-nayika' and the succeeding verse (SK V. v. 351, p. 678) 'pratinayika' where we have a reference to Hari, Rukuini and the pranayini offended by Hari (that is Satyabhāmā) by his gift of 'tridasa-kusumadāma'; the verse is in Skandhaka metre. We may therefore reasonably draw the inference that the present verse is drawn from Harivijaya (now lost). 1251) Daratthaviasuradumami...... This verse, in Skandhaka metre, is further on (p. 1221) cited by Bhoja to illustrate 'Parijana-pramodah'. As there is the mention of the celestial tree (Parijata) planted in front of her (Satyabhāma's) mansion we may safely take that the verse is drawn from Harivijaya (now lost). 1252) Panaaparipuranenavi...... This verse, which is in Skandhaka metre, is again cited on p. 1221 to illistrate 'manahpraharsah. ' From its style it appears that it possibly belongs to Harivijaya (now lost).
