Samavāyāngasūtra
Notes 1. Gāuya (gavyūti) occurred at several places in canonical texts. It is equal to two miles . Four gavyūtis are equal to four x 2 miles i.e. eight miles or one yojana. The land measuring two thousand bows (dhanu”) is also equal to one gavyūti.
