heaven Jayantavimāna.153 He married at his father's behest and lived a happy married life.154 Subsequently, he renounced kingship and resorted to a life of asceticism. He became a kevalin under a priyangu tree at Ayodhya after twenty years of hard penance.155
According to the Jaina tradition, his height was 300 poles and he lived for 4,000,000 pūrva years. 156 His complexion has been described as golden.157 His first gañadhara and āryā were Carama and Kāśyapī respec-tively.158 He attained mokṣa in the kāyotsarga posture159 on Samet Sikhāra. 160
Padmaprabhanātha — the sixth tīrthamkara Padmaprabhanātha, the sixth tīrthamkara, was born at Kaušāmbī.161 His father Dhara162 or Dharaṇa163 or Śrīdhara164 was the king of Kaušāmbī165 and his mother's name was Susimā.166 According to the Jaina tradition, Padmaprabhanātha descended for incarnation from the heaven Uvarīmagraiveka.167 He married at the behest of his father and ruled for long.
