The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Pañchatīrthī bronze image of Manisuvrataswami with parikar is preserved in Sāmalā Pārsvanātha Temple in Shamala Pole. It was installed by Dhanaprabhasuri of Madhukara gaccha in V.S. 1531, Māgha va.di. 8, Soma (i.e. Mon., 30 Jan., 1475 A.D.). This Bimba was made by Neläka, son of Man. Vīrū and Dharaņū of Srimāla caste, along with his wife Sohi for the bliss of his parents and his own self. He was a resident of Kūdā.
सं. १५३१ वर्षे माघ व ८ सोमे श्रीमाल ज्ञा. मं. वीरा भा. धरणू सु. नेलाकेन भा. सोही सहितेन पितृमातृनिमित्तं आत्मश्रेयसे श्री मुनिसुव्रतस्वामि बिंब का. प्र. मधुकरगच्छे श्री धनप्रभसूरिभि: कूडा वास्तव्य ॥

This Pañchatīrihi bronze image of Sumatinātha with parikar is preserved in Ajitanātha Temple in Shekh's pado. It was installed by Dharmasāgarasūri of Pippala gaccha in V.S. 1531, Phālguna, su.di. 8, Soma (i.e. Mon., 13 Feb., 1475 A.D.). This Bimba was donated by Ruļā, son of Śreșthi Rāul and Varajū of Srīmāla caste, along with his wife Mānkū and son Dharņā for their own bliss.
