The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Pañchtirthi bronze image of VasupujyaswamiYC is installed in Chandraprabhaswami Temple in Shantinath Pole of Kalupur. It was made by Mai, the wife of Māņika of śrīmāla caste for the bliss of her brother. This icon was installed by Gunadheerasūri of Pūrṇimā Paksa in the Pattāvali of Gunesunderasūri in V.S. 1525 Pausa, vadi. 5, Soma, (i.e. Mon., 2 Jan. 1469 A.D.).
॥ सं. १५२५ वर्षे पोसवदि ५ सोमे श्री श्रीमाल ज्ञातीय व्य. उदा भा. उमादे सु व्य. माणिक भार्यया मांई नाम्न्या स्वभ्रातृश्रेयसे श्री वासुपूज्यबिंबं श्री पूर्णिमापक्षे श्री गुणसमुद्रसूरिपट्टे श्री गुणधीरसूरीणामुपदेशेन कारितं प्रतिष्ठितं च विधिना ॥ श्री स्तंभतीर्थे । शुभं भवतुं । श्री ॥

This Panchatirthi bronze image of Adinatha with parikar is preserved in Shätinath Temple in Shekh's Pado. It was made by Viḍhāka, son of Bhavalade and Bhada, for the bliss of his fore-fathers. This Bimba was installed by Śrīsangha, with the precept of Jayakesarisuūri of Añcala gaccha in V. S. 1525, Magha, sudi. 3 Soma (ie Mon, 16 Jan. 1469 A.D).
संवत् १५२५ वर्षे माघ सुदि ३ सोमे उएसवंशे सं. मोल्हा भा. माणिकदे सुत भा दा भा. भावलदे पुत्र शवा वीढाकेन पूर्वज श्रेयोर्थं श्री अंचलगच्छे श्री जयकेसरिसूरीणामुपदेशेन श्री आदिनाथबिंबं कारितं प्रतिष्ठितं श्री श्री संघेन कल्याणमस्तु ।।
