The Jain Image Inscriptions of Ahmadabad

This Pañchatirthi bronze image of Shitalanath with parikar is preserved in Muleva Parshvanath Temple in Muleva Pārshvanath Khadaki of Panjara Pole. It was installed by the precept of Bhaṭṭā. Śrī Jayachandrasuri of Pūrṇimā Paksa [in the pattavali of Bhima palliya Bha. Sripalachandrasūri] in V. S. 1519, Magha, su.di. caturthi, Ravi. (i.e. Sunday, 23 Jan., 1463 A.D.). The donors were Mantri, Depāla and Man Haripal, sons of Man. Sidhar and Mulhi, for the bliss of their father. They were the inhabitant of Zinzu wādā.

This Pañchatirthi bronze image of Vāsu pūjyaswāmī with parikar is preserved in Gauḍījī Pārshvanath Temple in Tokarshah's Pole. It was installed by Vimalasuri of Brahmaṇa gaccha [in the Patṭāvalī of Buddhisagarasuri] in V.S. 1519, Magha, su.di. 5, Soma. (i.e. Mon., 24 Jan., 1463 A.D.). This icon was made by Gena, Madāk of Śrīmāla caste, for the bliss of his father Manā and mother Dhāru. They were inhabitant of Akavalia (?).
