ફેલાતી વિવિધરંગી શામા એને લીધે જાણે કે અગાશ મારતું હોય એવું દેખાય છે, સરોવરની શોભા અને રૂપ ભારે મનેાહર છે, ચિત્તમાં પ્રમેાદ પામેલા ભમરાઓ, માતેલી-મત્ત-મધમાખીએ એ બધાનાં ટોળાં કમળા ઊપર બેસી તેમને રસ ચૂસી રહ્યાં છે એવા એ સરોવરમાં મીઠા અવાજ કરનારા હંસા, બગલા, ચકવા, રાજહંસા, સારસા ગર્વથી મસ્ત બનીને તેના પાણીના ઉપયોગ કરે છે તથા વિવિધ પ્રકારનાં પક્ષીઓનાં નરમાદાનાં જોડકાં એ સાવરનાં પાણીના હાંશે હોંશે ઉપયાગ કરે છે એવું એ સરોવર કલિનીનાં પાંદડાં ઉપર બાઝેલાં મોતી જેવાં દેખાતાં પાણીનાં ટીપાં વડે ચિત્રાવાળું દેખાય છે. વળી, એ સાવર જોનારનાં હૃદયાને શાંતિ પમાડે એવું છે એવા અનેક કમળાથી રમણીય દેખાતા એ સાવરને માતા દસમે સ્વપ્ને દેખે છે.
ચિત્રની મધ્યમાં પાણીની અંદર સુંદર કમલા, તથા તમતા કલહંસો દેખાઢેલા છે. સરાવની ચારે બાજુ ચાર દરવાજા છે. દરેક દરવાજે એકેક પક્ષીની રજૂઆત ચિત્રકારે કરેલી છે. વળી, સરાવરની ઉપર અને નીચે, તથા ચારે ખૂણુામાં સુંદર વૃક્ષ તથા ઉડતાં પક્ષીઓની રજૂઆત પણ સુંદર રીતે કરેલી છે. આખા ચિત્રમાં ફાઇ પણ જગ્યા જળચર પક્ષીઓ, વૃક્ષેા તથા કમળફૂલે અને પાણીના દેખાવ વગર ખાલી રાખી નથી. આ ચિત્રનું સંચાજન પણ ઉત્કૃષ્ટ કાર્તિનું છે.

The lake radiates with the beams of the rising sun, tinging its waters with an orange hue, effected by innumerable thousand-leaved water lilies. The lake is filled up with aquatic animals, and exhibiting shoals of happy fishes, sporting and shining as if the water was on fire There are lotus flowers of the solar and the lunar radiance, the blue lotus, the rose-coloured, and the pale, all growing together in one splendid and delightful assemblage. Large black bees and the swarms of flies are sucking honey from lotus flowers. Black and white swans, cranes, geese, and Indian cranes, in all their pride, males and females, were fluttering over the water, while the lotus leaves, besprinkled with drops of dew, reflected varied colours, a sight quite pleasing to the eye; the whole scene inspiring the greatest delight.
In the painting, the lake is full of swan and lotuses. It has four gateways. The birds appear near the entrance of two gates. A beautiful tree is represented in four corners with birds on it, and two other gates; altogether artist has represented six trees.
ચિત્ર ૪૨. ક્ષીર સમુદ્ર. દેવસા.ની પ્રત ઉપરથી. ત્યારપછી વળી, માતા અગિયારમે સ્વપ્ને ક્ષીર સમુદ્રનેદૂધના દરિયાને જૂએ છે. ક્ષીર સમુદ્રનેા મધ્ય ભાગ, જેવી ચંદ્રનાં કિરણાની શે।ભા હાય તેવી શે।ભાવાળા છે એટલે અતિ ઊજળા છે, વળી, એ ક્ષીર સમુદ્રમાં ચારે બાજુ પાણીના ભરાવા વધતા વધતા હાવાથી એ બધી ખાજીએ ઘણા ઊંડા છે, એનાં મેાજા ભારે ચપળમાં ચપળ અને ઘણાં ઊંચાં ઊછળતાં હાવાથી એનું પાણી ઢાળ્યા જ કરે છે, તથા જ્યારે ભારે પવનનું જર હોય છે ત્યારે પવનો એનાં માજા'ની સાથે શેરથી અથડાય છે તેથી મેાજા જાણે જોરજોરથી દોડવા લાગે છે, ચપળ અને છે, એથી એ સ્પષ્ટ દીસતા તરંગા આમતેમ નાચતા હાય એવા દેખાવ થાય છે તથા એ તરંગો ભયભીત થયા હોય એમ તોાભ પામેલા જેવા દેખાય છે એવા એ સોહામણા નિર્મળ ઉદ્ધત કલ્લોલાના મેળાપને લીધે એનારને એમ જણાય છે કે જાણે ઘડીકમાં એ દયા કાંઠા તરફ દોડતા આાવે છે અને ઘડીકમાં વળી એ પાત્તા તરફ પાછા વડી જાય છે. એવા એ ક્ષીરસમુદ્ર ચમ કત્તા અને રમણીય દેખાય છે, એ દરિયામાં રહેતા મોટા મોટા મળી, મોટા મોટા મા, તિમિ, તિમિંગલ, નિરુદ્ધ અને તિક્ષત્તિનિલય નામના જળચરા પોતાનાં પૂછડાંને પાણી સાથે અફળાવ્યા કરે છે એથી એનાં ચારે
