As Represented in the Kalpasūtra Paintings હાથની અંજલિઓ જેડી પ્રભુ મહાવીરનો ઉપદેશ એક જ ચિત્તે સાંભળતી દેખાય છે.
Fig. 162. JSM. KS. 92. Mahāvīra preaching samacari. At the end of Sāmācārī, it is stated that the Vanerable Ascetie Mahāvíra delivered this discourse, called the Paryusanakalpa, in the town of Rajagrha, in the Gunasila Caitya, in the midst of monks, nuns, laymen, laywomen, gods and goddesses.
In the upper row our painting depicts Mahāvīra seated on a spired throne lecturing, mouth-cloth (Muhapatti) in hand. On a lower seat before him is a monk and two laymen receiving the instructions; out of two laymen, one is seated at the top in right corner and the other is behind a monk. In the lower row from left to right are seated two nuns and four laywomen facing them.

આ પ્રસંગના વર્ણન માટે જૂઓ ચિત્ર ૧ના આ પ્રસંગને લગતું વર્ણન Fig. 163. SMN. 1, 1. Tirthankara Sri Mahavira. The treatment is essentially the same as that in our figure 1. ચિત્ર ૧૬૪ઃ પ્રભુ શ્રી મહાવીર સામાચારીને ઉપદેશ આપતાં. નવાબ ૧, પાનાં ૧૩૨ ઉપરથી.
ચિત્રમાં ઉપર અને નીચેના દરેક ભાગમાં બે જૈન સાધુઓ બેઠેલા છે. બંને ભાગોના મધ્યભાગમાં સ્થાપનાચાર્ય છે. દરેકના ઉંચા કરેલા જમણા હાથમાં મુહપત્તિ છે. તે બધા (ચારે) સાધુઓ સોનાની બેઠક ઉપર બેઠેલા છે.

ચિત્ર ૧૬૫ : પ્રભુ શ્રી મહાવીર સામાચારીને ઉપદેશ આપતાં. નવાબ ૧, પાનાં ૧૩૨ ઉપરથી.
ચિત્રમાં ઉપરના ભાગમાં ચાર શ્રાવકે છે; અને નીચેના ભાગમાં બે સાદવીઓ અને બે શ્રાવિકાઓ રજૂ કરેલી છે. સઘળાંયે બને હસ્તની અંજલિ જેડીને પ્રભુ મહાવીરનો ઉપદેશ સાંભળતાં બેઠેલાં છે. બધાંયે સુવર્ણની બેઠક ઉપર બેઠેલા છે.

ચિત્ર ૧૬૬-૧૬૭–૧૬૮. પાટણ ૩ની પ્રત ઉપરથી. આ ત્રણે ચિત્રો એક જ પાના ઉપર છે. ૧૬૬ શ્રી મહાવીર પ્રભુ કાઉસગધ્યાનમાં, ૧૬૭ શ્રી મહાવીર પ્રભુનું મૃતક વિમાન ઉપાડતા દેવ, તથા ૧૬૮ શ્રી મહાવીર પ્રભુને અગ્નિસંસ્કાર. આ ચિત્ર પ્રસંગો અનુક્રમે ચિત્રની જમણી બાજુથી જોવાનાં છે.
