"He supremely excels who looks equally upon well-wishers and neutrals as well as mediators, friends and foes, relatives and objects of hatred, virtuous and sinful."- 9 योगी युञ्जीत सततमात्मानं रहसि स्थितः । एकाकी
यतचित्तात्मा निराशीरपरिग्रहः ।। १० ।। "Living in seclusion all by himself, the yogi who has controlled his mind and is free from desires and is void of possession should constantly engage in meditation."- 10
शुचौ देशे प्रतिष्ठाप्य स्थिरमासनमात्मन: । नात्युच्छ्रितं नातिनीचं चैलाजिनकुशोत्तरम् ॥ ११ ॥ तत्रैकाग्रं मनः कृत्वा यतचित्तेन्द्रियक्रियः । उपविश्यासने युञ्ज्याद्योगमात्मविशुद्धये
।। १२ ।।
"His seat should be firmly placed at a spot which is clean and which is not too high or too low and made of cloth, skin and Kusha grass.
