अध्याय-२*- CIIAPTER Two
heart and soul to "Me", becomes a person whose wisdom is steady." - 61 ध्यायतो विषयान्पुंसः सङ्गरतेषपजायते । सङ्गात्सञ्जायते कामः कामात्क्रोधोऽभिजायते ॥ ६२ ॥
"The person dwelling upon sensual objects becomes attached to them; Attachment generates desires and desires when not fulfilled generates anger."-62 क्रोधाद्भवति सम्मोहः सम्मोहात्स्मृतिविभ्रमः । स्मृतिभ्रंशाबुद्धिनाशो बुद्धिनाशात्प्रणश्यति ॥ ६३ ॥
"Anger generates infatuation which in tum generates brain confusion. This generates loss of intellect resulting in complete ruin." - 63 रागद्वेषवियक्तैस्तु विषयानिन्द्रियैश्चरन । आत्मवश्यैर्विधेयात्मा प्रसादमधिगच्छति ॥६४ ॥
"But a self controlled person, even though he is moving amongst sense objects obtains peace because he is free from the feelings of attraction and repulsion" - 64
