The last form of logical relationships might appear, at first sight, to be misplaced, as one is apt to regard the conclusion. There is no pitcher in this room. as a fact of perception rather than a logical infer. ence; but in that case we should have to assert that the eye can actually perceive negations, which would be ridiculous.
