When he was sixteen, he wrote "Mokshamala". It was a mile-stone in his life. He wrote it in the form of "Balavabodh" or beginer's primer. "Mokshamala" has divine power and inspires the reader to think deeply on "Moksha" (Salvation). It contains the entire Jain philosophy in a nut-shell. He wrote this immortal epic in just three days at Vinaybhai Daftary's house in Morbi.

"Mokshamala" describes the four gatis (life forms), four upamas (metaphors), twelve bhavanas (concepts) etc.
