Various stages of karma are - 1. Bonding (bandhan), 2. Existence (Sattā), 3. Fruition (Udaya), 4. Premature fruition (Udīraņā), 5. Augmentation (Udvartanā), 6. Reduction (Apavartanā), 7. Transformation (Sarikramaņa), 8. Suppression (Upaśaman), 9. Unchangeability except augmentation and reduction (Nidhatti), 10. Absolute unchangeability (Nikācan), 11. Gestation (Abādhākāla), and 12.
