Dynasty King Date Saka 1500 (1578 A.D.) Tamil Language and Script Contents States that the manasthambha was the gift of Bussetti, son of Bāyisetti, a Vaisya of Jagatā pigutti. Reference ARE, 517/1937–38. Remarks Jagatā pigutti seems to be a village in Anantapūr district, Andhra Pradesh. One of the inscriptions from Kummetta refers to Jagatā pigutti Simai. (ARE, 15/1947–48)
