Tamil, Tamil and Grantha Language and Script Contents In the introductory part of the record, the king is said to be the son of KampaņaUdaiyar (II) and grandson of Virakampaņa. The inscription is a receipt for the cost of some land, which a certain VishņukambuļiNāyaka bought from the villagers of Sambukulapperumal-agaram or RajagambhiraChaturvēdimangalam in Murumangalaparru in Mandikulanāļu in Palkungakoțțam in Jayankoņdasõlamandalam. Reference ARE, 87/1887, SII, Vol. I, No. 72. Remarks The last four lines, which consist of signatures, have not been transcribed, as they are somewhat obliterated. The following are the readable names of villages, which occur at the beginning of the different signatures : Kumāņdür. Murugappādi, Periyakāţtēri and Vangipuram. SII, Vol. I, No. 72, pp. 102-104.
