Dynasty King Date A.D. 9th century characters Tamil, Vațţeluttu Language and Script Contents Records that this image was caused to be made, on behalf of his younger brother, by Araiyangāvadi, the pupil of Guņaśēnadēva, who was in-charge of this paļļi. Reference ARE, 69/1910. Remarks The Jaina relics at Pēchchipallam are similar to those at Kilakkuļi and Kongarpuliyankulam. Besides, there is a large courtyard infront of a rock which bears Jaina sculptures, mostly in standing pose with a canopy of five serpent-hoods spreading over their heads. ARE, 1910, p. 78.
