Nolamba-Pallava Mahendrarāja Saka 800 (A.D. 878 A.D.) Kanarese The record apparently makes a grant to a Jaina temple. ARE, 348/1901. This Nolamba king is said to have defeated the Bana chieftain Mahabali Bāņarāya in about 890 A.D. The village Mayindramangalam (Adiyamānkōṭṭai) seems to have been named after this Mahendrarāja.
