Mentions the name Sri Surya AdūmanJinendra. C. Govindarajan, "The Viraśikhāmaņi Jaina hill", Mukkudai, November, 1978, pp. 17-20. Engravings of a single foot print and a conch are found just below the inscription. Sri Surya Adūman Jinendra seems to be an important monk who lived in the cave at Viraśikhamaņi.
