Intensity of Karma
Intensity of karma is determined by passions attracted by self. The stronger the passions the greater the intensity. Intensity of fruition corresponds to the strength of passions in the reverse order. The strong effect of the evil tendencies weakens the effect of the good ones. Greater purity of character and conduct in a being lessens the intensity of evil karma. Fruition of auspicious type of karma is the highest due to pure feeling. Fruition of inauspicious type of karma is also highest due to impure feelings. Every part of the self attracts karmic particles through the vibrations of yoga and kasaya. Age determining karma gets the smallest quantity of karmic particles while physique making karma and status determining karma will have more quantity. Knowledge obscuring karma, perception obscuring karma and power obscuring karma catches more karmic particles than physique making karma and status determining karma. Deluding karma receives more than knowledge perception and power obscuring karma while greatest number of molecules will go to the feeling producing karma.
