The Second Predication. The Second Bhanga or the manner of Prodication in the Syd-vada is :

Syat-nasti-eva Ghutab In some respects, the pitcher does certainly not exist. Our commonplace example in its second Bhanga would stand thus
In some respects, that mango-tree does oertainly not bear fruits.
It would be observed that just as in the first predication, in the second Bhanga also there is no uncertainty about the relationship between the object and what is attributed to it. The nonexistence of the pitcher and the fact of not bearing the fruits by the mango-tree are asserted in the second predication with as wuch confidence as the existence of the pitcher and the faot
