प्रस्तावना
प्रत्येक भाग में संबंधित विधियाँ, आवश्यक दोहे, चैत्य वंदन आदि विविध काव्यों को सम्मिलित किया गया है. प्रथम / द्वितीय भाग की | यह पुस्तक जिज्ञासु पाठक और आराधकों को खूब उपयोगी बने और वे इस पुस्तक के माध्यम से प्रतिक्रमण आदि की पावन क्रिया का लाभ लें, यह मेरी शुभ कामना है.
प्रतिक्रमण सूत्र के अर्थ आदि को अंग्रेजी में तैयार करने का यह | मेरा प्रथम प्रयास है. पुस्तक के संपादन - भाषांतर आदि में पूर्ण रूप से ध्यान रखने पर भी प्रमादवश, कम्प्यूटर दोष या दृष्टि दोष से यदि कोई त्रुटि / अशुद्धि रह गई हो एवं जिनाज्ञा के विरुद्ध कुछ भी लिखने में आया हो उसके लिए अंतःकरण से मिच्छा मि दुक्कडं. साथ ही पाठकों से निवेदन है कि वे अशुद्धि को सुधारकर पढ़ें एवं हमें अशुद्धि से अवगत कराएँ.

Preface
In every part, relating procedures, various necessary kavyas like couplets, caitya vandana are being included. It is my only good wish that this book of part-1 / part 2 be very useful to all curious learners and adorers and they shall take full advantage of the sacred rite of pratikramana etc. through this book.
This is my first effort to prepare the meanings etc. of pratikramaņa sūtras. Though full attention is kept on editing-translation etc.; if any short coming/ error | has remained by computer mistake or by over-sight due to negligence, and if any thing is written against jinājñā, for that heartily micchā mi dukkadam. Besides readers are requested to read correction the errors if any and also to inform us of those errors.
