In the Active Voice the subject (Person, thing etc) is in the Nominative Case. The Verbal form which is used with the above-mentioned Nouns is of the Third Person Plural. With the Noun in the Active Voice, the Verb used is of the ‘Third Person Pronoun'. Here the Noun is Plural, therefore the Verb is also of the Plural Number. w 6.
