Approach - Route :
The nearby railway station of Vijaymangalam is at a distance of 5 Kms from here. It is convenient for pilgrims to come here by a bus from Erode which is 25 Kms from the shrine, located on Erode-Tirupur main road. Buses and cars can go upto the temple. Vijaymangalam bus stand is about 1 Km. from temple. Amenities For Jain Pilgrims :

Sri Mahavir Bhagwan in white colour, seated in semilotus posture, of height 75 Cms in a shrine located at the base of Ponnurmalai on Vandavasi-Chetpet road (Dig.). Approach - Route :
The nearby railway staion of Tindivanam is 40 Kms away. From the city of Chennai, the shrine is 130 Kms and from Vandavasi on Chetpet road it is only 10 Kms away. Buses and taxis from all these places are available to come here. Buses and cars can go upto the base. To reach the top, one has to climb 330 steps from the base. Chair Carrier are available for the elders to climb on top. The shrine is 3 Kms away from the village of Ponnur.
