From Ulundurpet on Tiruvennainallur road, the shrine is at a distance of 5 Kms from the village of Pillaiyarkuppam. In Ulundurpet buses and taxis are available. Cars and buses can go upto the temple. From the city of Chennai, this shrine is 200 Kms away.
