So saying she fed him with her own hands. After feeding him lovingly she untied some coins which totalled up to Rs 8 from the end of her saree and offered them to him. Amar said : Mother, I also have money. But when I could not buy any food I came to you.
The woman replied: My son, every living being has a right to food and water and I am happy I could feed you. Now I am giving you this money from my side. Take it as a gift from your mother.
With these words she forcibly put Rs. 8/- into his pocket.
Amar was overwhelmed by her love and the fact that even today the spirit of hospitality was alive and well in India's villages.
Ambala and the Arrival of Amar's Uncle
The whole group of disciples, walking along the roads and bylanes slowly reached Ambala city.
Ambala in Punjab is the hallowed ground on which the footsteps of many saints have traveled.
In fact the Revered Kashiram Ji (Guru of Shri Shukal Chand Ji Maharaj) left his body and attained mahasamadhi in Ambala.
On reaching Ambala, the disciples of Shri Shukal Chand Ji Maharaj accorded him a warm welcome. His dynamic spiritual presence charged the whole atmosphere and a current of divine energy pervaded the whole group.
Shri Shukal Chand Ji Maharaj gave a stirring discourse. After the conclusion of the discourse Amar and another disciple started walking towards a nearby house to have their meal.
Unknown to Amar, his uncle had arrived in Ambala and recognized Amar from afar . He observed his movements and followed him to the Jain sthanak where the group was staying. On arriving there he told Shri Shukal Chand Ji Maharaj : Gurudev, this child has run
