31. एगतीसं पासिज्जनामज्झयणं
(1.) केऽयं लोए ? (2.) कइविहे लोए? (3.) कस्स वा लोए? (4.) के वा लोयभावे? (5.) केण वा अटेण लोए पवुच्चई? (6.) का गती? (7.) कस्स वा गती? (8.) के वा गतिभावे? (9.) केण वा अटेण गती पवुच्चति? पासेण अरहता इसिणा बुइतं।
(1) लोक क्या है? (2) कितने प्रकार का लोक है? (3) किस का लोक है? (4) लोकभाव क्या है? और (5) किस अर्थ में लोक कहा जाता है? (6) गति क्या है? (7) किसकी गति होती है? (8) गतिभाव क्या है? और (9) किस अर्थ में गति कही जाती है?
ऐसा अर्हत् पार्श्व ऋषि बोले
1. What is the world? 2. How many such planes of existence are there? 3. To whom the world belongs? 4. What does one mean by the world? 5. What is the purport behind it? 6. What is the destiny? 7. Who meets this destiny? 8. What does one mean by destiny? 9. What is the purport behind destiny?
Said enlightened seer Parshwa : (1.) जीवा चेव अजीवा चेव। 1. लोक जीव और अजीव रूप है। 1. The world contains the animate and the inanimate.
(2.) चउव्विहे लोए वियाहिते : दव्वतो लोए, खेत्तओ लोए, कालओ लोए, भावओ लोए।
2. लोक चार प्रकार का कहा गया है-1. द्रव्यलोक, 2. क्षेत्रलोक, 3. काल-लोक और 4. भावलोक।
2. There are four worlds or planes of existence (i) Dravyalok, (ii) Kshetralok, (iii) Kal-lok, and (iv) Bhavalok.
