4. सम्यक् रूप से कर्म का परिज्ञान होना चाहिए | पश्चात् कर्म के विमोचन का परिज्ञान होना चाहिए। कर्म विमोचन का परिज्ञान और उसका आचरण करने पर जीव कर्ममुक्त हो जाता है।
4. One should have adequate knowledge of Karma. Then should one know the device to negate the Karma. Such a device alone will confer deliverance.
मम्मं ससल्लजीवं च, पुरिसं वा मोहघातिणं । सल्लुद्धरणजोगं च, जो जाणइ स सल्लहा || 5 |
5. जो जीव के सशल्य मर्म को, मोहनाशक पुरुष को और शल्यनाश के योग को जानता है वह शल्य का नाश करता है।
5. One who knows the essence of the sin, the dispassioned self that can disillusion and the means of disillusionment alone can cure the sin of illusion.
तहा
बन्धणं मोयणं चेव, फलपरंपरं । जीवाण जो विजाणाति, कम्माणं तु स कम्महा ।।6।।
6. जो बन्धन और मोचन को, उसकी फल परम्परा तथा जीवों के कर्मों को भी जानता है वही कर्मों का नाश करता है।
6. One well-versed in the knowledge of bondage, liberation and their repercussions, alone can destroy Karmas.
सावज्जजोगं णिहिलं विदित्ता,
तं चेव सम्मं परिजाणिऊणं ।
तीतस्स निदाए समुट्ठितप्पा, सावज्जवुत्तिं तु ण सद्दहेज्जा ।। 7 ।।
7. सावद्य योग को पूर्णरूपेण जानकर और उसका सम्यक् प्रकार से परिज्ञान कर पूर्वकृत पापों की निन्दा के लिये तत्पर आत्मा सावद्य वृत्ति पर श्रद्धा न करे ।
7. Comprehending fully the associative tendency of sin, a soul, bent upon abandoning the encumbrance of accumulated Karmas, should not associate with the sinful tendencies.
सज्झायज्झाणोवगतो जितप्पा, संसारवासं बहुधा विदित्ता । सावज्जवुत्तीकरणेऽठितप्पा, निरवज्जवित्ती उ समाहरेज्जा ।। 8 ।।
