________________ 2. The meaning of the words. 3. The 'Will-power' Thus, we will see that a Manira is equipped with these three important factors. Coming to the first factor, we all know that a word, when spoken always creates certain impression and effect. The effect is carried by the valves of air from the speaker to the listener. This effect represents sound. The impression is likewise conveyed to listener's head, meaning intellect. Now the degree and ratio of the impression and effect of the spoken words depend upon the quality of the person who speaks as also upon the quality of the persons who listen. This impression and effect are strengthened or lessened in accordance to the meaning that these words carry. This is the second factor. Them comes the all important factor of the 'Will Power' that the editor of such Mantras has implanted in the word of that Mantra. These three factors, to say in brief, constitute the entire structure, composition and the power of the Mantra. This triple force, combined in one Mantra is positively capable of producing some result. Is becomes a formula of words containing special power. This result too depends upon the fulfillment of certain conditions to be observed strictly by the person who wants the result. These conditions are: 1. Faith. 2. Concentration. 3. Perseverance. 4. Methodical recitation. 5. Object. The faith should be intense and unswerving. Concentration should be absolute and perfect. Perseverance should be unending and untiring Methods should be scientific as prescribed by the experienced teacher. ધર્મ-ચિંતન ૦ ૪૩૫
