પ્રતિષ્ઠાને અહેવાલ અહીં “પુણ્યા પુણ્યા, પ્રીયનાં પ્રીયન્ત... શ્રી મણસંઘસ્ય શાંતિભવતુ”ના મંત્રોચ્ચાર વચ્ચે આ વિધિ થઈ ત્યારે બેન્ડ, થાળી, ડંકા અને ઘંટનાદથી વાતાવરણ ગાજી ઊઠયું હતું. પાલીતાણા શહેરનાં દેરાસરોમાં પણ આ મંત્રોચ્ચાર અને ઘંટનાદ થર્યો હતો. આખી વિધિ ખૂબ જ શાંતિપૂર્વક પાર પડી હતી. આ પ્રતિષ્ઠાનું ચોક્કસ અને મંગલ કાર્યનું મુહૂર્ત આચાર્ય શ્રી વિજયનંદસૂરીશ્વરજી મહારાજે આપેલું..
પાલીતાણા ગઈ કાલે અને આજે રાત્રે રેશનીથી રંગબેરંગી જણાયું હતું. તમામ ધર્મશાળાઓ પર રેશની કરાઈ હતી. હજારે યાત્રિકો માટે ભેજનની વ્યવસ્થા કરાઈ હતી.

Palitana-a city of temples-witnessed a colourful and marvellous illuminations since last ten days on the occasion of the re-installation of some 507 (504) Jain idols at a beautiful newly constructed Adinath temple on the sacred hill of Tirthadhiraj Shatrunjay. Amid chants of Slokas
Om punyaham, Om Priyantam', and a band playing religious songs, the re-installation ceremony of Jain deities started on 7th February, 1976 exactly after 450 years, at 9-36 a.m. The ceremony of consecrating these old images was performed by Acharya Maharaj Kastursuriswarji.

જૈન મહાતીર્થ તીર્થાધિરાજ શત્રુંજય પર્વત ખાતે ભવ્ય પ્રતિષ્ઠા મહોત્સવ ઊજવાયે હતો. ૫૦૦ જેટલી જિનપ્રતિમાઓનું ઉત્થાપન કરાવી પુનઃ પ્રતિષ્ઠા કરવામાં આવી હતી. હજારોની સંખ્યામાં જેન ભાવિકે, સેંકડો જૈનાચાર્યો અને સાધ્વીઓની હાજરીમાં પૂ. આચાર્ય મહારાજ શ્રી વિજયકરતુરસૂરીશ્વરજીની નિશ્રામાં આ પ્રતિમાઓની પ્રતિષ્ઠા કરવામાં આવી હતી. આજે વહેલી સવારથી તીર્થરાજ શત્રુંજય ખાતે યાત્રીઓને ધસારે શરૂ થઈ ચૂક્યો હતો. સવારે ૯-૩૦ વાગ્યે જ્યારે પ્રતિષ્ઠા મહોત્સવને ધાર્મિક વિધિ શરૂ થયે ત્યારે તે મંદિરમાં માનવ મહેરામણ કીડીઓની માફક ઊભરાયો હતો.
બરાબર ૯-૩૦ વાગ્યે ઘંટનાદ શરૂ થયા હતા અને મંત્રોચ્ચાર સાથે ધાર્મિક વિધિ શરૂ થઈ ત્યારે “ભગવાન આદિનાથકી જય'ના ગગનભેદી અવાજેથી વાતાવરણ ગુંજી ઊઠ્યું હતું. દેરાસરમાં આ વખતે અમીઝરણાં થયાં હતાં.
