In present the contribution of descriptive catalogues of mss towards the presentation and protection of mss in their way is to be recognised. The National Archives (Delhi) is an important institution who trains persons in the art of techniques.
There were in brief some of the old and modern techniques of preserving and protecting the mss. wealth.
