Mahatma Hiranada was the scribe of a dated Ms. of Supāsanahāchariyam'o painted as Devakulavõiaka in A.D. 1422-23. In the 18th and 19th century a community of scribes known as Matheran was active in the Jodhpur-Bikaner area which was writing as well as illustrating the quikā MSS. on all subjects.
