Love is an anchor to which is fixed The Ship of Soul, pure and upmixed : Faith is a rope thicker and stronger Attached both to the ship and anchor. Obedience is journeying over the rope To the place of Soul when all else elope. Love is a tiny but all powerful boat Over the waters of the sea and afloat: Therein sits a lover with his Sight Kept steady on Master's eye, So bright. Faith is a tiny but all powerful seat Removing all doubts and all deceit : The lover is a lover of faith all true So armed, he has a right to go all through. Obedience is an implement called oars, The lover holds them in hands with force Love and faith provide mysterious energy
