ચિત્ર નં.રમાં એક સમયે એક જ તણખો થાય છે, પણ પ્રક્રિયા ખૂબ ઝડપી હોય છે. તણખાથી ગુંબજની વિદ્યુત શક્તિ વપરાઈ જાય છે. તેથી તે યંત્રને ફરી ચાર્જ કરવો પડે છે. તોફાની વાતાવરણમાં આકાશમાં થતી વીજળી કરતા આ યંત્રમાં તફાવત ફકત એટલો છે કે વીજળીના સમયે વાદળામાં એટલો પુષ્કળ ચાર્જ હોય છે કે પ્રાયઃ દરેક વીજળીના કડાકામાં ૨ થી ૧૦ ચમકારા હોય છે કે જે એકજ પ્રવાહમાં વહે છે.
શાંત ચિત્તે આ બાબત ઉપર ઊંડો વિચાર કરવામાં આવે તો ‘ionised હવા સાથેનો સંપર્ક થતાં વિદ્યુતપ્રવાહ-ઘર્ષણજન્ય એવા આ મહાકાય સ્પાર્કસ ઈલેકટ્રીસીટીને તેઉકાય જીવ રૂપે સ્વીકારવા માટે નિ:સંદિગ્ધ મોટો પુરાવો છે. ગુંબજમાં રાખેલી ઈલેક્ટ્રીસીટી અંદરમાં તો ભડભડ બળે જ છે. માટે જ તે વોલ્ટેજ વધી જતાં આપમેળે તણખા સ્વરૂપે બહાર નીકળી આવે છે. માટે તે તેઉકાય જીવસ્વરૂપ જ છે. આ વાતને હવે તો કદાપિ પડકારી શકાય તેમ નથી જ. 9.
