હતા. ] Nyaya-Kusumanjali To restrain the five senses and a varice. ( 19 ) To observe forgiveness. (20 , To purify the mind. (21) To carefully inspect the pieces of cloth and other materials for the removal and protection of insects. ( 22 ) To observe five Samitis and three Guptis. (23-25 ) To check the evil activities of body, speech and mind. ( 26 ) To endure the twenty-two kinds of troubles (Parishahas ). ( 27 ) Not to swerve from the path of duty even at the cost of life. (Total 27).
“મોટા સામ્રાજ્યને તૃણવત્ ત્યાગ કરી, યોગ ઉપર આરૂઢ થઈ, ઘેર વનમાં અતિકઠિન તપ કરી, કર્મ રૂપ ઈશ્વનને બાળીને, જેઓએ
કાલકના સ્વરૂપને જાણનારી બુદ્ધિને સંપૂર્ણ રીતે પ્રાપ્ત કરી; અને જેઓ ગીશ્વર, દેવેન્દ્ર અને વૈરભાવ હોવા છતાં પણ શાંતિપૂર્વક એકત્રિત થયેલા તિર્યંચના સમૂહથી, “હું પહેલું નમું, હું પહેલો નમું ” એવા ભાવપૂર્વક નમસ્કૃત થયા; અને જે અલોકિક-ભાસ્કર ભગવાને સેંકડો સૂર્યોથી નહિ નાશ પામેલી અને સંસારમાં પરિભ્રમણ કરીવનારી એવી વિશ્વની અનાદિકાલિક આન્તરિક ગાઢ મેડરૂપ અન્ધકારની શ્રેણીને, શાંતિરૂપ અમૃતના અત્યન્ત રસથી ભરેલી, મનુષ્ય, દેવ અને તિર્યચેના મનમાં ઉતરી જનારી એવી વાણીરૂપ પ્રભાથી નાશ કર્યો, તે અનુપમતિ સ્વરૂપી, ચિદાનન્દમહદયરૂપ, પરમેષિમાં પ્રથમ દેવ અને આપણુ શરીરની માફક હસ્ત, પાદ, મસ્તક, અને મુખાદિકથી યુકત દેહને ધારણ કરનાર એવા જીવન્મુકત ત્રિલેકીપતિ ભગવાનનું પ્રતિમાદ્વારા ધ્યાન કરનારાને, હે પામર, તું વખેડે છે ”—૩૭–૩૯ ब्रह्माणं परमेश्वरं विरहितं देहादिभिः सर्वथा
रूपातीतमगम्यरूपमपि वा मूत्तौं समारोप्य सद् । ध्यायन्तं स निराकरोदलभताऽऽरोपस्वरूपं न यः
