The Publisher's Note.
We hoped to publish this work about the end of 1927 but as there was unusual delay in preparing the blocks for the pictures of the gods and goddesses, we are obliged to write this note and add the title-page in English, since, during the interval, unfortunately, there occured the deaths of the publisher and the printer as well. We regret very much for the death of Sheth Venichand Surchand, who was our Senior Secretary and an enthusiastic colleague. We may mention that by' this time, the location of our office also has been changed as noted at
the end of the page.
