દૃષ્ટાંત, ઉદાહરણ. Example.
-: કાર્ય સિદ્ધ કરનારી એકતા :
એક નગરમાં વૃદ્ધ વસે છે. મરણના સમયમાં પણ તેના પ્રાણો જતા નથી. ત્યારે તેના પુત્રો તેને કહે છે - “હે પિતાજી ! તમારી કઈ ઈચ્છા આજ પણ પુરી થઈ નહિ ! જેથી તમારા પ્રાણ સુખથી જતા નથી” એ પ્રમાણે, ત્યારે વૃદ્ધ કહે છે. એક ઉપદેશ છે—જે આપ્યા વિના પરલોક હું જવાનો નથી.
ત્યારે પુત્રો કહે છે - કર્યો તે ઉપદેશ ?
ત્યારે વૃદ્ધ કહે છે - એક લાકડીના ભારાને તમે લાવો.
= અલ્પ.
તે પુત્રો જલ્દી લાકડીના ભારાને લાવે છે.
ત્યારે વૃદ્ધ કહે છે - રે પુત્રો ! તમે એક એક આ લાકડીના ભારાને ભાંગવા માટે પ્રયત્ન કરો.
ત્યારે બધા પુત્રો વડે તે પ્રમાણે કરાયું, પરંતુ તે ભારાને ભાંગવા માટે તેઓ સમર્થ થયા નહિ.
ત્યાર પછી વૃદ્ધ કહે છે - હવે ભારામાંથી આ લાકડીઓને જુદી જુદી કરીને એક એક લાકડીને ભાંગવા માટે પ્રયાસ કરો. તે પ્રમાણે કરવાથી તો તે બધીનો થોડા જ સમયમાં ભંગ થાય છે.

ત્યાર પછી વૃદ્ધ ઉપદેશ આપે છે કે - પુત્રો ! આ ઉદાહરણથી જાણો કે – “ભેગા નથી તેઓ નાશ પામે છે, અને ભેગા છે તેઓ નાશ પામતા નથી.”
-: UNITY, THAT MAKES THE WORK SUCCEED :
There lived an old man in a town. Even at the time of death, his soul doesn't get freed. So, his sons tell him, "Dh, Father !, which wish of yours is not satisfied till today, that your soul hesitates to move out peacefully?
Then the old man says, "There is one message, and I am not going to heaven, unless I give it to you',
The sons ask him, "which is that message ?"
So the old man says, "You all bring me a bundle of sticks". His sons bring it very soon.
Then the old man says, - "Oh my son !, one by one you come and make an effort to break this bundle of sticks". His sons tried to do the same. But they were unable to break the bundle.
Then the old man says, "Now, seperate the sticks from the bundle and try to break one by one".
Doing like that, all the stick were broken in a short time.
Then the old man gave the message, "My sons !, learn from this example that those who are not united, get destroyed, and those who are united, do not get destroyed."
"United we stand, divided we fall"
