પ્રાકૃત ભણો, સુખ મેળવો બધા જૈનાગમો, અને ઘણા સૂત્રો પ્રાકૃતમાં છે. માટે પ્રાકૃતભાષા આપણી માતૃભાષા છે. પરંતુ કાલના પ્રભાવથી વિસ્મૃત જેવી થઈ ગઈ છે.
પ્રાકૃત વિશારદ્ આચાર્યશ્રી વિજય કસ્તૂરસૂરિ મ.સા. દ્વારા ૩૬ વર્ષ પહેલાં પ્રાકૃતપ્રસારમાં રસિક એવા રાયચંદભાઈ મગનલાલની ભાવનાથી ભાવનગરવાસિ પંડિતવર્યશ્રી નર્મદાશંકર શાસ્ત્રી પાસે ઉજ્જવલ પ્રતિભાવાળા બાળકો બાળપણથી જ માતૃભાષા એવી પ્રાકૃત-સંસ્કૃતના જાણકાર થાય એવા આશયથી “પ્રાકૃત વિજ્ઞાન બાળપોથી'' કરાવી.
પ્રમાદથી ક્યાંક પડી રહી, પરંતુ ગુરુજન્મ શતાબ્દી વર્ષે આપણા પરમ સૌભાગ્યના કારણે બાકી રહેલા ગુરુજીના કાર્યને પૂર્ણ કરવા માટે ફરી પ્રાપ્ત થઈ.
તે બાળપોથી ચારભાગોથી વિશિષ્ટ અને કાલના અનુસાર સંસ્કૃત-ગુજરાતી અને અંગ્લીશના ભાષાંતરો દ્વારા સારી તૈયાર કરેલ છે. પહેલા ભાગમાં ચિત્રાવલિની જેમ બાળકોને પસંદ પડે તેવા જૈન પ્રતીકના ચિત્રો, બીજામાં ચિત્રોથી શોભિત માતૃકાક્ષરો અને થોડા વાક્યો, ત્રીજા-ચોથામાં શબ્દો, ધાતુઓ, તેના રૂપો, પ્રયોગો મૂક્યા છે. સંસ્કૃત વાક્યો અને પ્રત્યુત્તરો પરિશિષ્ટમાં મૂકેલા છે. - પૂજ્ય પ્રગુરુ વિજય કસ્તૂરસૂરિ મ.સા.ની કૃપાથી, ગુરુબંધુ યુગલ વિજય ચંદ્રોદયસૂરિ, વિજય અશોકચંદ્ર મ.સા.ની માર્ગદર્શનયુક્ત પ્રેરણાથી, ગણિવર્ય શ્રીશ્રીચંદ્ર વિજય અને મુનિશ્રી જિનેશચંદ્ર વિજયના ઘણા પરિશ્રમથી, સહવર્તિ મુનિઓની સહાયથી, વિવિધ સંઘોના અને ગુરુગુણાનુરાશિ ભક્તજનોના સહયોગથી તથા નેહજ મુદ્રણાલયવાળા ભાઈઓના યુક્તિસહિત પરિશ્રમથી દોઢ મહિના જેવા થોડા સમયમાં આ બાળપોથી પ્રકાશિત થઈ. | અમે ઈચ્છીએ કે આ નવીનતમ પ્રયાસ પ્રાકૃત અભ્યાસમાં સહાયક થશે, અને પ્રાકૃતજ્ઞાનથી આત્મજ્ઞાનને જાણીને પૂર્ણ સુખને મેળવે... વિ.સં. ૨૦૫૬, માગશર વદ-૧૩

LEARN PRAAKRUTA AND ACHIEVE (GAIN) HAPPINESS Many of our Jain Scriptures and verses are in Praakruta language. So Praakruta can be so called our Mother tongue, but due to modernisation, it has lost its originality.
About 36 years ago Pandit Shree Narmadashankar Shastri residing at Bhavnagar made a "Praakruta Vigyan Balpothi" for childern to known their mother tongue Praakruta-Sanskrut from childhood, inspired by shree Raichandbhai Maganlal who was interested in spreading Praakruta by blessing of well-learned Praakruta Scholar Acharya Shree Vijay Kastursuri M.S.
It is our pleasure to complete the incomplete work of this book & fulfill the dreams on the occassion of our Guruji's Centenary Year.
This book is divided into 4 parts. Taking into consideration of todays generation, the words of this book has been converted into Sanskrut, Gujarati & English. The 1st book features Jain Symbols through vivid pictures. 2nd book features some pictures and their meanings with sentences and in 3rd & 4th book have featured some words, classification of metals experiments etc, are vividly shown. Sentences and exercises in sanskrut are given in appendices
This whole could be possible with the blessings of Pujya Praguru Kastursuri M.S., and under guardiance of Gurubandhu Yugal Vijay Chandrodaysuri & Vijay Ashokchandra M.S., along with hardships of Ganivarya Shree ShreeChandravijay & Muni Shree Jineshchandravijay, along with the sincere help from other disciples also.
It would not have been possible without the help of entire disciples and with the whole team of Nehaj Enterprise who with their sincere dedication have brought forward this book in just a short span of one and a half month.
We hope that this new expirement would help childern to get the maximum knowledge of Praakruta and achieve complete happiness for their soul through spiritual knowledge.
